Stichting Muziek voor Kinderen is registered with the tax authorities as an ANBI (public benefit organization). As a result, donations made under certain conditions are eligible for a tax deduction. All donations go entirely to the projects themselves. Participation from the Netherlands is on a volunteer basis, and teachers who travel to the projects pay their own travel and living expenses. Board members serve entirely on a volunteer basis and receive no compensation.
